The RAFHPA has a stock of high quality gliders and accessories that can be loaned to its members for a small monthly maintenance charge.

The Association currently has in its inventory seven paragliders (five Alphas DHV1 and two Epsilons DHV 1-2, all complete with harness and reserve) and three hang gliders (one tandem and two intermediates, two harnesses with reserve and one passenger harness). As our membership grows the Association is looking to increase its fleet of novice gliders.

Other items available for loan include varios, GPSs, helmets and radios.

RAFHPA Clothing

In addition the RAFHPA is able to provide its members with a range of practical, heavily discounted clothing for free flying use. All of the items proudly bear the RAF Logo that you see on the top left of the website banner.

At present the available items include T-Shirts, North Face Soft Shell Jackets and Advance Flying Suits. The range of clothing also includes the smart polo shirts which are advertised in RAF Active magazine.

NEW ITEM ANNOUNCED. It has recently been confirmed that the Association is funding a North Face 1/4 Zip Fleece. This high quality item has been specially selected to integrate with the rest of the flying orientated clothing available from the RAFHPA. The chosen item is the North Face TKA 100 Glacier ¼ zip fleece in deepwater blue, details can be found on the North Face website at the following link.
The RAF sports logo is embroidered on the right shoulder with white lettering and either hang gliding or paragliding in below in red lettering. The retail cost of the garment is approximately £34, but to members the garment is available for only £15.
